Within this section are various types of techniques - from beginning to advanced. This doesnt mean that as you get better you won't use the beginner styles, or that when you get really good you'll use all the advanced styles I list here. Find what works for you and try new things. Go back to the basics from time to time to remind yourself of stuff you've forgotten.
For most sections you want to paint, there's 3-5 colours involved. The primary colour in the middle, with 1-2 lighter and darker colours. Depending on the technique you're using you may not use them all. The order in which I'll paint the colours tends to depend on what colour I'm painting and the technique.
Depending on how far away from your primary colour you go for the lightest and darkest colours, could create too much of a contrast. I suggest trying both styles to see what they look like, and deciding on which
